Roof, steel, floors, power and fire safety assessed together — items threatening goods and safety come first, cosmetics last; the renovation budget lands where it hurts most.

Roof leaks and heat

Roofing is the most common failure in older factories — replace damaged sheets, reseal fixings, apply waterproof coating and add insulation or ventilation; a few degrees cooler changes productivity measurably.

Epoxy floors rated to real loads

Failing floors damage forklift wheels and trap dust — grind flat, treat cracks and coat epoxy at thicknesses matched to each zone: forklift lanes differ from packing areas and offices.

Power distribution upgrades

Older plants overload as machines are added — measure real loads, rebalance phases, replace distribution boards and add dedicated circuits for heavy equipment; fix it once instead of patching.

Phased around the production schedule

The plant splits into zones, each hoarded and renovated while the rest runs normally — the plan locks to the foreman's weekly production schedule, with fallback for urgent orders.

Fire-safety compliance after changes

Layout changes, new partitions or re-purposed zones all touch the fire-safety file — check current regulations at design stage so the final inspection passes first time.

Must production stop during renovation?

No — with proper planning: zone-by-zone phased works behind full hoarding, noisy and dusty tasks off-shift and on weekends, materials moving along dedicated routes. AIC locks the coordination plan weekly with your plant foreman; the line runs normally outside the hoarded zone.

What should we renovate first on a limited budget?

In risk order: leaking roof (threatens goods and equipment) → overloaded power (fire and downtime risk) → damaged floors (forklift safety) → ventilation and heat (productivity) → office cosmetics. AIC's survey report ranks these with per-package costs so you decide by budget.

How is factory renovation priced?
